GEOLOGY FIELD TRIPS
Coming soon!! Geology field trips to a variety of places around Texas and adjacent states (especially New Mexico). Durations of trips range from one to three days, depending on destination. Trips typically include activities to strengthen geologic knowledge, including drawing pictures, cross sections, and geologic maps. I am also willing to contemplate trips to farther away destinations, although the cost will be considerably higher due to extra travel expenses.
GUEST LECTURES
Currently available!! Guest lectures to interested groups on various geology and astronomy topics. I typically have both a short version (45 mins to one hour) and a long version (2+ hours) of each lecture. The short version is more suited to a general audience, or one with a limited time frame, whereas the longer versions are more suited to a serious or professional audience.
